Ordered a new convection fan motor and blade. Had to remove current blade from inside oven, then remove back panels (yes, it took two to get to the fan motor), and replaced the motor. Old motor well past shot. Had been noisy for about 3-4 weeks, but our kitchen was being remodeled, so we let it slide. Once it was clear how to remove back panel, the job was easy. Fix unresponsive controls, burners not working, or F1 error codes with this range sub circuit board. Moderately difficult DIY repair with small clips.
This job was easy really only need a screwdriver to complete. After installing the board I found that some of the connectors on the board were upside down, so I pulled the board back out to compare with the old one. After comparing the boards some connectors were upside down but I noticed that the components on the board were also flipped as they were numbered the same. I installed the new board again and flipped the 3 cables and put everything back together. New board works great so far. Read more
