Maytag Dishwasher Dishrack

The Dishrack Track (Right) is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It is responsible for supporting the third-level dishrack and allowing it to glide in and out smoothly during the loading and unloading process. This track is designed specifically for the right side of the third-level rack. 

Causes of a bad track include damage from heavy use over time, such as dulling or bending of the metal track surface from repeated loading/unloading of dishes. Debris or residue buildup along the track can also cause issues.

Symptoms of a bad track include:  

• Rack that will not fully extend or retract
• Binding or sticking during rack movement  
• Rack that will not stay positioned above

This OEM Whirlpool replacement part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Pivot mechanism for fold-away tines in dishwasher racks. Replace this part when the pivot is broken, cracked, or no longer holds tines securely in place.

Gray plastic pivot that allows dishrack tines to fold down. Installs on upper or lower rack. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing for proper dish loading.

Symptoms of a bad dishrack stop clip can include:

• Movement or vibration of the upper dish rack during washing
• Visible damage, bending or broken tabs on the mounting clip itself  
• Inability to smoothly slide or remove the upper dish rack

Causes of a bad dishrack stop clip usually stem from normal wear and tear over extended use. Overtight loading of dishes could also put excessive stress on the clip.
