I read up on others with this problem of microwave-wall oven combination Whirlpool Gold. Our heating element had broken coils. Typed model number in to see which parts were likely to fix the problem. AppliancePartsPros told me exactly which parts to try. After watching several u tube videos I borrowed a friends multi meter and tested element , high level thermostat and the thermistor. Ordered parts from applianceparts pro , at a significant lower price than the local parts warehouses around my area!! Dryer is working great! Read more

I don't have a multimeter so couldn't check all voltages or resistances on suspect parts. I assumed it had to be the two thermostat units - the thermostat or the dryer cycling thermostat. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same.
