This is a Whirlpool oven touchpad and control panel assembly. Included in this package is the complete touchpad screen and control panel assembly. This component is used to control the heat and other functions of the range. When the touchpad begins to malfunction, certain functions may not engage properly on the oven. These malfunctions may happen intermittently over a long period. The touch panel assembly can become damaged over time due to normal wear and tear. However, the damage could also be caused by a shortage in the appliance. Always use a voltage tester before diagnosing an issue with the oven. This part is intended for installation on the rear portion of the upper area of the cooktop. Typically, the old component can be removed by accessing the screws on the side of the oven. These are usually located near the bottom of the control assembly. There may be screws on the back panel that allow access to the inside of the central console. Once access is gained to the console, remove the control panel by using a nut driver to remove the small screws that fasten it in place. Once this part is separated, installation can begin on the new component. This is a genuine OEM product sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part is made exclusively for Jenn Air ovens. It is sold individually.
