This front baffle grommet cushions and secures a dryer's front baffle to reduce vibration and noise while helping keep the baffle properly positioned during operation. Fits select Whirlpool-built dryers. What it does:

• Cushions the baffle to reduce rattling, knocking or squeaking noises during spin
• Holds the baffle in place to prevent movement or rubbing against the drum
• Helps maintain even drum rotation and prevents premature wear of plastic/metal parts
• Can wear or crack with age, causing noise or loose baffle symptoms

• High-level replacement — remove dryer front or access panel;
• Use proper tools and support panels; keep screws and fasteners organized for reassembly
• Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) before starting work
