Luckily we planned ahead when building the laundry room, as we built a water catch basin and drain under the washer, but waking up to see 1-2 inches of water is never a good sign - even if it is contained. It appears that a sleeve of a shirt was accidentally caught between the door mechanism and the bellow seal. Did lots of internet research. Narrowed problem down to three things - door lock latch, control unit, and motor control unit. Figured out how to run the diagnostic test program, which showed a F22 (door lock) error. Removed and ohm tested the door lock (pins 1 & 3). We looked online at AppliancePartsPros.com under the symptoms and found it was most likely caused by the shocks. Of course there was a repair video showing how to replace all four shocks step by step, and there was a link for purchasing the four shocks at the bottom of the video. Our repair didn't go quite as quickly as on the video because we are novices, but we were able to do the repair ourselves and, once again, saved ourselves a ton of money! This should be plastered all over the place and every owner of a front end washer should be advised or a recall should be issued about this. As I opened the top of my washer to fix a F35 error by replacing the water level switch, which worked out great and it fixed the issue, I noticed a rusting spot at the bottom of the washer just under where the motor is placed. I pulled the unit away from the wall and noticed black dust on the floor. Unplugged the unit, turned off the water. Removed back panel (about 10 screws with Torx heads) and noticed the belt was off, the drive pulley was loose and wobbling on the shaft, black dust all over the inside. Belt was worn along one side. Some grooves/damage in the outer drum casing around the pulley where it appeared the belt had rubbed. Removed the lower crossbar (2 more screws) to get better access to the drive... Read more

After watching the YouTube video provided by Appliancepartspros and checking various forums I determined the dispenser motor had gone out. Turns out, it was a two part problem. The connectors to the motor, and the motor had corroded. Cleaned them both with vinegar. The old motor did a load before I started having problems with the CCU. Repairing the problem was the easy part. Diagnosing the problem took a little more time. To diagnose the problem, it took longer because I first cleaned the Drain Pump trap from all the material it collected. Socks, hair pins, and other materials that were not cleaned from pants pockets. Ordered the springs and shocks. Noticed that the washer had placement for 4 springs, but the factory only installs 2 (or they forgot to install the other two on my machine). If you replace the springs, be sure to check for the spring bracket mount. You will also need those. The washer is running fine. Next I'll work on the dryer. Read more

Removed and replaced the door switch. Best service I just watched their video on it and it was a snap ordering was no problem. Very easy got the switch and plunger when they said with no delays . Very good service I will come back if I need more parts with out hesitation thanks. Read more

Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up).
