Water leaking from my front load washing machine Donald H. • Tustin , CA • July 03, 2015
Removed the top cover while the machine was operating, located the source of the leak. The top filler tube had worn a hole in a flex point. So far so good, washing clothes and no leaks!! Great prices and best of all the right parts were delivered in a timely manner. Thanks for making this so easy. Only specialty tool used was hose...

Bad bearings seal and spider David R. • Jacksonville , FL • February 04, 2017
If your LG Front load washers sounds like a freight train, STOP USING IT. You're doing more damage and will need more parts to fix it.
After the noise became unbearable, I began to explore and disassemble. I knew enough to know the bearings must be bad but had never done this repair before. ( I am however pretty mechanically inclined.)
Watch this video before you start tearing your LG apart. APP did a great job explaining the steps of the repair. Do a search on this site or youtube.com with...

Loud noise during spin cycle Steven S. • Celina , OH • March 10, 2019
I started by watching the video and it was very helpful. I would make one suggestion. On our model the weights on the tub sit very close to the front gasket. It is much easier to put the gasket on the tub before you put the weights on. Also, since the washer was tore apart, I replaced the hoses and seals and shocks since the machine is about 8 years old. The shocks made a huge difference. It spins like it did when it was new. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful.

This is a spider arm assembly for washing machines. Another name for the spider is the rear tub support because it provides support for the outer tub. The spider has three legs that are approximately 10 inches long each. washing machines might need a new spider arm assembly if it is very noisy, if it shakes excessively while running, if the drum is emitting burning smells at high speeds, or if it is smoking. If upon visual inspection, the spider arm assembly is rusted or corroded, it will need to be replaced. The dryer drum may appear to have cracks, but this is how it is manufactured during the casting process. This is a genuine LG part and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This specific spider arm assembly is compatible with washing machines that are LG and Kenmore manufacture.
