I replaced the main PCB in the back bottom of the washer. Simple exchange of pcb. All I needed was a phillips screwdriver and a second set of hands while all the cabling was moved from the original main pcb to the replacement pcb. Washer works like a charm now. Read more

This is an easy fix. Just remove the back panel, remove the hose clamp to pull out the old hose, put the new hose on, make sure the clamp is well centered onto the connection, and return the back panel. Make sure to insert the drain hose into the three plastic guides that prevent the hose from moving around. The Samsung factory did not do this on my original hose, which is why it failed, because it was rubbing against the tub support and it wore a hole into the hose. I am going to complain... Read more

With all the bouncing around the shocks appeared to be done in but that was not the issue. The key was the balance ring. It had leaked all the fluid out causing all the beads to clump. This caused the drum to wobble wildly and not spin at speed. Getting to the ring to replace it is not a trivial task and took me several hours. The Cold Water Inlet Valve had a very good You Tube Video and I followed it. One note of caution, as I chuckled at the guy on the video saying watch for sharp edges, he was correct. When removing one of the lines from the valve, my pliers slipped and my elbow hit the front of the machine(inside edge) and cut my elbow. I first check the schematics to find the heat sensor. On my model it's c on the control panel. I checked the continuity on the orange and white wires. It showed some continuity but not much. I then went to the heater element and found the orange and white wires going to the thermistor. Turns out the heater element and thermistor need repalced. Read more

Washer said error no drain. Cleaned the filter and still no drain. So the next step was to check the hose for any debris and when I went to pull the hose off it broke, at the same time I found the check valve flap broke in the drain pump and it was blocking the hose. So I replaced the check valve on the drain pump and replaced the hose. Read more

We are moving soon. In checking, I found that a front loading washing machine tub must be stabilized using shipping bolts. I found the correct items on line at AppliancePartsPros.com. "Chris" of your staff was very helpful. He informed me that my washer required only 3 shipping bolt assemblies, instead of the four I expected to buy. Replacing the upper nozzle connector did the trick. I could not see damage in the older upper nozzle, it is possible that I could have fixed this just by tightening the parts - but i am happy I purchased both the upper nozzle and check valve ball, it feels good to have installed brand new parts in the washer. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. Ordered the part of the check valve body that was leaking and a new ball for the check valve, put the parts together and it fixed the problem, the only problem was plugging the small tube which my machine does not use, I simply made a small pin and glued it in the small tube with some high strength lock tite, easy fix !!
