Angela September 06, 2012 for Model Number LTF2940FS1 When start is activated the machine lights behave normally and the door locks but no water flows. After a few seconds most of the lights go out except for the door lock, start and no spin lights up. After a few more seconds all the lights go out and the door unlocks. When the start button is activated again, Err appears in the display. E23 displays when the error code is recalled. The manual says to replace console control board, wire or pump. Any suggestions on which to start with? Also is there any instructions to replace the parts? Thank you.
1 Answer Hi Angela. Shut off the water supply valves. Put the hoses one at a time in a bucket and flush them out verifying a strong water flow in each hose. Inside the unit water valve4 are filter screens. Make sure they are not blocked. Flush them out. Then Remove the front lower panel. Use towels and a wet shop vac to pick up water. Remove the pump - to - tub hose (sump Hose). Clear it as well as the inside of the tub where it connected to the hose. Remove the drain hose from the pump. Clean the pump and if the impeller is damaged or loose on the pump shaft, replace the pump w/part # 137221600. F-24 code is found in the supplied tech sheet under the top in a packet. it say to trace the temp. sensor ( thermistor) for 12k ohms. Make sure all connections are tight. Thank you. Read More...

1 Answer Hello John. Check and see if there is power coming to the water valve. If so, and no water and the hoses are not clogged, you will need to order and replace the water valve 134371220 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Bob May 25, 2012 for Model Number LTF2940FE0 A few months ago LEDs on control panel would stay illuminated even with washer off. Only way to clear was to unplug unit. Now machine will not start and buttons are not working properly. Rotating cycle knob seems to normally change time LED values (Normal cycle 47 min, Heavy 57 min, etc), but hitting ANY of the buttons causes the unit to cycle through water temperature selections. Any button will also cause unit to beep three times and shows "ERR". Machine won't start at all, can't hear door lock solenoid actuate. Can't get machine to enter diagnostic mode. Bad control board?

Jim May 10, 2012 for Model Number LTF2940F0 The front load washer I have everything seems to work untill it gets to the final spin. Then it just sits there it will not pump the water out being it will not spin either but the pump workes in the rinse cycle ?
1 Answer Hi Jim. Remove the lower front panel. Use a shop vac to pick up water and spare towels. Then remove the intake hose to the pump from the top where it connects to the bottom of the tub. There is 4" x 1"round filter inside to catch the pocketed debris before entering into the face of the pump. If it is not clear , the pump cannot fully empty. Then the pressure switch will not be satisfied to allow safe high speed spin. Make sure to feel the pump impeller to check that it is not loosely spinning on the pump shaft. If so the pump is part # 137221600. Is the door locking properly ? If not the lock is part # 131763256. These are the two more common issues with non-spin. Thank You. Read More...
Dolores May 03, 2012 My front loader began to not spin once in a while. I thought maybe the loads were too heavy. Last few days if one cycle didn't spin I would try another and it would work. Within a week or so all cycles (normal, heavy, perma press etc)stopped spinning. Even the wash and rinse doesn't seem to work as it should. Repair man says it's the circuit board - expensive. Any thoughts??
1 Answer Hello Dolores. Check and make sure the filter in the pump is not clogged and that the pump is working properly. If so, and it is a Frigidaire, it may just be the door lock assembly and not the control board. If the lock assembly does not send signal to the control board, even though it is locked, the machine will not spin out. Sharon March 24, 2012 for Model Number gltf2940es0 After washing a bulky item and forgetting to set my machine to its 'bulky' setting it froze up 1 minute before the end of the cycle. Now, when I try to start a new cycle I hear water running for a second and then it stops and I hear a click from above the dispenser area (I took the top of the machine off) followed by a slight buzzing sound. I have an error code E75 which my manual says to "check the resistance of the NTC". Can someone tell me how I do this? I know I either need to replace the inlet valve of the control board but this will obviously tell me which. I've googled the heck out of this but can't seem to find the answer. Thank you in advance.
1 Answer Hello Sharon, When the top of the machine is removed, look for thew water valve which is blue. There is a 2 wire connector plugged into the side of it. This is the NTC. Larry March 12, 2012 for Model Number GLTF2940ESO Hi Pros...First, the washer would go from about 44 min to 28 ish in cycle then shut off...also had leak right after...found rubber boot on top by water inlet and soap dispenser leaking, had tear in crease, and I need one of them if you have them...then looked at motor and saw where machine shook and motor smashed one wire, except for about two strands, and another one some, that go from motor to speed control board...repaired them and washer worked for two weeks...now it shuts off in cycle and if set to drain and spin, it drains, does balance rotations, hear control board click, door click, and click by speed control, then dash shuts off...did diagnostics, and it flashed E59, which led to speed control board, which is directly under leaking rubber boot, and found semi broken drum shock cracked at lower mount, tub moves a lot...new washer or fix it? Have had six and a half years.

Cliff February 03, 2012 for Model Number GLTF2940EE0 Circuit breaker tripped at end of cycle, reset, turned on again, tripped, reset, turned on third time. Error code "do" and E14, can't enter diagnostic mode. Removed front control panel, component blown next to the blue connector and component on right side - impressive black residue on board and front cover! Was it an internal failure, or a dead short in the motor or some other component? I'd rather not install a new board and then blow it up, too. Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
