Hello - My SamsungWF328AAW/XAA washer just makes a loud "click" when I try to active the spin/drain cycle. I've walked through the diagnostics and it will not drain, eventually displaying the "nd" on the screen. All the other modes appear to work fine. Is this the correct assembly for my washer? Since I'm not sure what the issue is, I would prefer just to replace the whole thing (housing, pump, etc.) vs. just the pump. Thanks!

My machine stopped draining, I used the machines test buttons to tell the machine to drain. The drain pump hums. I replaced the drain pump, the machine works great again. 30 days later same problem. drain pump hums. I did not take it out this time. I ordered a new pump again. Question, is there a better quality pump I could put in ??

If you purchased the part from APP, you have a 365 day warranty on the part, you may want to contact the APP Customer Service Team 1-877-477-7278. You also want to recheck and make sure there are no loose wire connections, or debris left in the drain hoses that may be causing the issue.

I found a nickel in my pump. The clattering noise is gone and the pump worked for one cycle but now won't drain again. I pulled it out again to make certain nothing else was in the lines which there wasn't. Should I start with installing a new pump? Are the chances pretty good that the coin damaged the internals of the pump?

Hello Pete. Check and see if the pump motor has power but does not run. If so, replace the pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Pete P August 23, 2013 for Model Number Samsung WF306LAW washer

My Samsung WF306LAW washer won't drain. I've removed the drain pump and bench tested it and when I hit it with the proper power it runs great. I've tested the power on the board where the trouble shooting guide says to and I have power. I've ohmed the wiring and it's good. Where the wiring from the pump attach to the board and where the guide says to test it are different although in the same clip. I'm not sure if this is a board issue or not and I don't want to order the wrong part. Any ideas? Thank you.

Pete, You will want to check the drain line coming from the bottom of the tub to make sure that there is not anything clogging it. If this checks ok then you will want to run a spin and drain cycle and see if the motor is actually coming on or not. If it is not then the wiring or control board would be suspect. If it running then the impeller is most likely damaged and the pump would need to be replaced.
