Paul999 December 17, 2011 for Model Number KUDP01DLBS3 Dishwasher stopped mid wash with 2 dash lines on display. The control board is burnt on the plug with the Tan wire that comes off the door switch which I believe is pin 8. This model also uses p4 on the control board.

Katrina December 17, 2011 for Model Number 66516939000 The control panel on my Kenmore dishwasher does not appear to be workiing.The airdry light stays on, and if you push any of the other options, they do not light up or respond. The airdry light will blink when any of these buttons are pushed. Could it be my electronic control timer? If it is, how hard is it to install. Thanks for you help.
1 Answer Hi Katrina. Air Dry: Opens the circuit to the heater element during the dry period of the cycle. This option is not available on quick wash or rinse only cycles (which have no dry period).Stuck Key: If the control detects that a key is stuck in the depressed position, dishwasher operation will be suspended and the control will flash the LED associated with that key until the condition is corrected. If a key without an LED is stuck or multiple keys are stuck, the control will flash the lock-out LED. The keypad is part # WP8269826. Pete December 17, 2011 for Model Number GU1500XTLB1 The unit has been problematic for about 6 months. After turning off power (via breaker) the washer has been OK, so that became my wash routine. Now that doesn't work. Over last few days, the Cancel button has worked after the reset. Now it doesn't work either. I'm guessing, based on other posts, that this is either a touchpad issue or a control board issue (hopefully not both.) The unit is black. How should I proceed? Thanks!

December 06, 2011 for Model Number KUDPO1ILBLO Unit will not operate, I can push the heavy button and it lights up, this also happens with the normal or light button, rinse only button does not light, the high temp, sani rinse and the energy saver all light, ther is no response with the delay button,start button does not respond nor the cancel button. John Z. November 25, 2011 for Model Number KUDPO1LSS1 Washer would not start last night. Pressed cancel and was able to get all the lights to light. Turned off power, then tried again. Washer sat for a couple of minutes, then started. This morning it would not start. Took panel off and looked a switches and control board. Everything looks clean and not scorching or heat damage. Seems like only symptom is the start button won't start the cycle. Ideas?

Walter November 25, 2011 for Model Number KUDS01IJWH0 My model KUDS01IJWH0 dishwasher will not operate or respond to any buttons. The rinse only and energy saving dry led's blink continually. Tim K November 22, 2011 for Model Number KUSD Model KUDS01FLSS2. User Interface Panel (UIP) lights are not illuminated, washer does not work at all. Previously replaced UIP board because of water corrosion issue and failure. Washer worked for several months until total failure with UIP lights no longer illuminated. Suspected Electronic Control Assembly failure due to water corrosion because it is located immediately below the UIP and it appeared to have same corrosion. Removed and replaced Electronic Control Assembly AP3775964 (8564542). Verified power to fuse on Electronic Control Assembly unit is 120 volts. Unit appears to be fully hot, but User Interface panel lights are still not illuminated. Have not yet performed voltage level troubleshooting on each electrical component. Any suggestions before I begin this process?

All the soap cube desolves and the dishes seem clean and dry. However when it stops running the clean light does not come on. The Smart wash light blinks continously and does not go out? David C. October 16, 2011 for Model Number KUDI01ILWH5 ( Kitchenaid ) Replaced control board (8564542). Have been unable to get it working. I tried turning off breaker for various periods of time. Nothing. Tried this interesting maneuver. pushed "high temp scrub" & "energy saver dry twice in sequence with door closed. ALL lights lit for about five seconds. Then normal light came on then rinse only, then norm then rinse then norm then rinse only starts and runs for a couple of minutes then after a brief pump out switches back to normal then back to rinse and shuts off.
