Henry O. August 26, 2011 for Model Number du1101xtpbb I had the clean and other lights blinking on front and dishwasher would not come on. I replaced the LED sensor on bottom of tub. Lights stoped blinking. All cycle buttons work but the only option light is heat and none other options will come on. The green power button will not come on. I checked both switches in door and ops check normal. The cancle button will cancle lights and when pushed a second time will drain and stop.
1 Answer Hello Henry. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel WP3385734 is bad and will need to be replaced. Remove the ribbon cable from the control board, make sure it is clean and dry. Reseat the ribbon cable all the way down. If problem continues, replace the panel. Hope this helps. Read More...
Jim D. August 24, 2011 for Model Number KUDK031TBT2 My dishwasher will not run, no lights. no keypad response, stopped in mid operations. It stopped like power went off, 10 minutes later indicator lights came back on, push resume button and nothing happened but lights went back off never to come back on. Checked door switch with ohm meter,it's ok. Checked thermal fuse on control board, it's ok. Do I need to replace board?

Henry August 21, 2011 for Model Number du1101xtbb When pluged in wash control lights blink. Can,not get start or any button to do anything. I have to unplug dish washer. When pluged back in lights blink again after about 5 seconds.
1 Answer Hi Henry. You will need to remove all power. Then on the bottom of the tub there is a L.E.D. sensor called an OWI from whirlpool. This will advance or stall the timer in whatever the soil sensor "see's". This part # is WPW10705575. Thank you. Read More...
Danny July 08, 2011 for Model Number du1055xtvq0 Buttons on key board lights up, except start button, no response.
1 Answer Hello Danny. You will need to test the door switches WP8269209 and make sure they are working properly. If so, it sounds like the control panel WP3385735 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test the switches with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Dan June 05, 2011 for Model Number Whirlpool DU1055XTVSO My dishwasher won't run or power up. No operation, no keypad response, and no LEDS or display. I thought that maybe it was the control panel so I bought a new one from this site but it still doesn't work. I have also checked the power source as well and that is good. Could it be the door latch switches or keypad? How can I test the door latch switches? Can I jump them with a pigtail? Do you have any other suggestions? I would greatly appreciate any feedback.
1 Answer Hello Dan. It sounds like the thermal fuse W10258275 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test the thermal fuse. It should read closed for continuity. The fuse is located on the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Guest March 14, 2011 for Model Number part AP4303742 Is there any danger in doing this if the circuit breaker is off? When my microwave was broken someone told me to be careful about the capacitor or something. This is a whirlpool dishwasher that this control board is for.
1 Answer Hello. As long as the power is turned off, you should be fine changing the board. Hope this helps. Read More...
