The unit has power and I checked the thermal fuse which tested ok.I did turn the circuit breaker on & off in case there was a power surge or failure. Frank March 19, 2012 for Model Number DU1055XTSB3 All functions on the control panel are inoperable and the green light that normally comes on when the door is shut does not come on. I have checked voltage going into the switches and out of the switches(120V)also checked voltage in and out of the fuse (120V). I have looked at both sides of the circuit board and can see no obvious problem. Does this sound like a problem with the control panel or circuit board(or something else)?
1 Answer Hello Frank. It sounds like the issue is with the thermal fuse W10258275 and not the control board or panel. Make sure the fuse is reading closed for continuity. If not, replace the fuse. Mitwins February 23, 2012 for Model Number Whirlpool Quiet Partner III I replaced the control board (AP4303742) as it would stop at wash cycle. Now it washes continously without stopping. I am not sure if I need to do something like reset for it go thru the cycle. Please help

Robert January 05, 2012 for Model Number DU1055XTVS When I start my dishwasher it starts to fill about 2/3 of the way, what I mean is part way into the fill cycle it goes off.. I push all the buttons ie.. NORMAL.. HEATED DRY.. SANI RINSE.. and START finishes filling up than quits... I continue to do this cycle for 3 to 4 times, same result. I than cancel and drain... throw in another was tab and repeat the process and on the 4th try it runs... for about 15 min and then it quits.. once I restart it continues til complete... Is it the Control Panel or the Control Board HELP
1 Answer Hi Robert. A couple of things to check. There is the float stem that rides on the float switch operating it. If the float stem as it pasases through the tub gets hung up on the debris it will not allow proper fill. It is part # WP8268913. Then if the flosat switch is bad internally it may ohm out correctly but fail electrically under a load. It is part # WP8268909. There is a float mount body that positions the float stem so it rides the switch connection correctly, if this is broken then it will be a misguide. Part # WPW10175383. There is a float switch lever part # WP8268892 make sure this is intact. Then look at the water fill valve. Is the inlet screen clogged ? Is the coils getting weak and opening under a load ? This means that the start button, rinse, normal/light/pot scrubber lights do not come on when their buttons are pushed and unit does not run at all. However, on the right side, the high temp, sani wash, heated dry lights all work wehn the buttons are pushed. But, the cancel and delay buttons on the right side do not work.
