Jack December 15, 2019 for Model Number Model: WSF26C2EXF01 Jack for Model Number Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly WPW10251076 ANSWER Hello Jack, If the icemaker stopped empty you should verify the water valve is operating properly. This could be an instance where the water valve has a problem or this could actually be a bad new icemaker assembly. For a more thorough diagnosis, we would need you to please post a new question including the model number from the units' I.D. tag. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Did you receive my new question on Friday? Do I need to open up the new icemaker to find the ID tag? I found on the box it came in that it was made 06/08/18 in MX.
1 Answer Jack, We needed the model number for your refrigerator, not the ice maker. On your unit, there should be a tech sheet that will have a diagnostics mode on it. Put the unit into diagnostics and see if the icemaker will cycle in the diagnostic settings. Read More...
Jack December 12, 2019 for Model Number Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly WPW10251076 I just replaced the Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly WPW10251076 because there was no ice being produced. Immediately, upon installation of the new ice maker, the icemaker filled and produced a single tray of ice within a couple of hours. 24 hours later and no more ice had been produced. The water dispenser works fine and the freezer is chilled to the proper temperature. What next?

Ian October 04, 2019 for Model Number WRS586FLDW00 Hi, our ice maker in our Hawaiian home does not work. I have checked the red leds are on in the ice bucket area and I have jumped wires across various test points to get things moving. My problem is that the red leds light up when the door is open, once it has been closed and reopened they are out. If I then unplug the white connection on the left side and reconnect it again it works once again. I have tried everything I can think of and have now resorted to carrying ice from the garage lol! Can you suggest a decent faultfinding flowchart or even provide a circuit diagram please? Love your site it has been the best for getting info on this subject. Regards, Ian from UK
1 Answer Hello Ian, the ice maker optics red indicator light only stays on for 30-60 seconds once it is powered. It can only be tested for correct operation in the test mode, Test 15, your model refrigerator came with a technical test sheet, its located under the front cabinet behind the lower grill, also check closely the wire harness bundle coming out of the lower freezer door hinge for any wire problems. Andi August 20, 2019 for Model Number w10122576 Our ice maker works fine and then it freezes up. The ice gets lodge in the maker. We pick the ice out and reset it for a week to a month it works. Do I need to buy a new ice maker or is it the heater on the ice maker? Can you buy a heater?
Alan July 14, 2019 for Model Number ISC23CNEXW00 Hello, My question is how to remove the COVER for wiring harness as it attaches to the inside of the freezer door? It oval in shape. The ice maker is model # w10251076. Refrigerator is Ikea ISC23CNEXW00. Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Alan, if you are referring to the ice maker fill tube with wire harness, it is just snapped into the freezer door inner liner and usually secured with a wire zip tie, just remove the zip tie and gently pull the grommet out. Read More...
Jeff July 12, 2019 for Model Number Ksf26c4xyy02 ice Maker will cycle once ( kick out ice and refill with water ) after power is turned off and switched back on. Then it won’t make anymore ice. Replaced ice maker last August with a new unit. Any ideas?
1 Answer Jeff, This issue would most likely be an issue with the emitter or receiver board on the unit. You will want to use the tech sheet that is with the unit and go into service diagnostics to test the boards. Read More...
Paul July 11, 2019 for Model Number WSF26C3EXF01 No ice. Replaced supply valve, no ice Replaced ice maker. Still no ice. Water and ice dispensers work fine. Freezer is at 0 degrees F.
1 Answer Paul, We will send you a tech sheet to test the ice level sensor in your freezer door by the ice bucket. If there is no red light on the receiver board the optics are faulty. If these boards think the ice bin is full it will not cycle the icemaker. Also, some other test points for voltage are connector P3 pin 3 and connector P1 pin 2 for 120 vac if the ice bin is not full. Those tests are made from the main control. On the user interface board, you can test for 14 VDC on connector J5 pins 1 and 3. No voltage here and the user interface needs replaced. Read More...
Brian June 18, 2019 for Model Number GSF26C4EXB02 Hello again. Based on your advice I ordered the receiver W10898445 because I wasn't getting power to my icemaker with both door switches and the icemaker flap pressed. I installed the new receiver today and I still don't have power going to my icemaker. Any thoughts? Thanks again.
1 Answer Brian, You will need to test again the bin status at test 15 to make sure the optics are working and test 17 to make sure the door switch is operating correctly. I will send you a service sheet for you to enter the diagnostics. Remember power goes to the ice maker from the main control on P3 connector pin 3 is the voltage and a neutral is P1 connector pin 2. This is a test point for voltage if the bin is in place and not full and doors shut 120 vac should be supplied to the icemaker. Read More...
Brian June 13, 2019 for Model Number GSF26C4EXB02 I did the optics test. Red light is on steady. I used a jumper wire to test the old icemaker while holding in both door switches and pressing icemaker flap. Old icemaker would not cycle. Replaced the icemaker. Still no ice. Any thoughts? Thanks.
1 Answer Brian, with the door switch engaged and the emitter flap pressed in, you will want to test for voltage going to the icemaker. The most likely issue is that while the receiver W11813704 is showing that it is sensing the emitter W10870822 beam, it is not sending 120VAC to the icemaker. If there is not voltage going to the icemaker with the switches and flap pressed in, then the receiver has failed. Read More...
Dj May 04, 2019 for Model Number WPW10251076 Just replaced my ice maker, how long do you typically have to wait until it will start cycling water into the ice maker.
