Dana September 09, 2018 for Model Number LAT3914AAE Maytag washing machine...Water will fill & start washing cycle. However, it will not move from the initial start cycle position. It fills & agitates but will not rinse or spin unless we manually move the dial to that position. Is this a timer issue or something else? Thanks

Donna December 19, 2017 for Model Number LAT8506AAE The washer will fill. But to get it to move to next cycle you can move the belt and it works but the next cycle you have to move the bell the other way. We replaced the belts and the lid switch. A repair man told me that I need a new motor but i do not think He but I could not buy the the switch any more but he is wrong the motor comes with the part on top that he was calling a switch. Any suggestions other than go buy a new washer? He told me the motor tested good but it was weak! I think it could be the timer?

As the knob gets closer to the cycle being finished, I can push the knob in and slightly advance it so it will drain. Is this a timer issue?

Ryland March 31, 2014 for Model Number Maytag LAT8104AAE The washer will only start agitating after filling if I pull hard and hold the timer for a few seconds to a few minutes. It will continue along in the cycle and randomly stop. When I go pull on the timer again, it will start back up but I always have to hold it for 30 seconds or so. When I let go, the washer stops. It's getting more and more frequent that it stop -- at first it was just in the agitation section and now it's in the spin cycle too. Does this sound like the timer is the problem?

Ml January 04, 2013 for Model Number LAT3914AAE Sometimes the machine will stop in the middle of the cycle, sit there and will eventually start again. On the delicate cycle it has been known to not stop until I manually stop it. Lately it has been going through the cycle completely but it does not empty the water. I can manually move it to the spin portion and it works fine. Is this a timer problem or something else?
