This 90° elbow fits fluid/gas lines, providing a compact right-angle connection between a 3/8" male NPT fitting and a 5/16" tubing. It helps route lines neatly and prevent kinks in tight appliance spaces. What it does:
- Creates a sealed right-angle transition from 3/8" male NPT to 5/16" soft or hard tubing
- Used where space requires a compact turn in water, refrigerant, or drainage lines
- Can reduce stress on hoses and tubing that would otherwise bend sharply
- Common replacement when fittings leak, vibrate, or become corroded
What's included: One 90° elbow (3/8" M NPT to 5/16" tube) Install notes:
- Inspect mating threads and tubing for damage; replace any worn seals or ferrules before installing
- Hand-start threads to avoid cross-threading, then tighten with appropriate wrench — do not overtighten
- Use thread sealant or tape only if specified for the application; follow appliance manufacturer guidance
- Disconnect power and water/gas supply and relieve system pressure where applicable before servicing
