This bottom insulation is the replacement foam panel that fits under the refrigerator cabinet floor to help reduce drafts and stabilize internal temperatures for more consistent cooling and quieter operation. What it does:
- Provides thermal barrier under the cabinet to help limit cold spots and improve temperature consistency
- Helps reduce vibration and noise by damping movement of the cabinet floor
- Blocks drafts and air leakage from beneath the unit
- Restores proper airflow pathways when original insulation is damaged or missing
What's included: One bottom insulation panel Install notes:
- Disconnect power and remove food, shelving, and lower access panels before servicing
- Wear gloves and a mask when handling old insulation; dispose of torn or contaminated material safely
- Position the panel in the original location without compressing it; secure with existing clips, adhesive, or fasteners as used by the manufacturer
