Range Screws, Nuts, Washers
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB01T10049
This machine screw is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is used in securing the burner head to the gas range top so that it can be used for cooking. If the burner head becomes loose or the screw is missing, it should be replaced. For safety reasons, the burner should not be used until this screw is replaced; the burner head could shift during cooking and lead to a fire. To start, disconnect the gas and power from the stove to prevent accidental ignition of the burner. Make sure the burners are not hot. Remove the burner grate and burner cap from the burner that is missing a screw. Install the new screw in the hole and tighten it with a screwdriver. Put the burner cap and burner grate back on the stove and reconnect the gas and power. Periodic inspection of the burner heads and all associated screws and parts on the stovetop will prevent accidents and keep the stove working correctly. This screw is a silver, metal part that is sold individually. It is designed for use in gas rangetops manufactured by General Electric and Hotpoint.

Igniter replacement and overall maintenenance Julio M. • Tucson , AZ • February 13, 2017
Second repair after 10 years of service - igniter had cracked and spill overs were causing the others to misfire. This was a two-step process. I took apart the cooktop to see what parts were neded. Screws were all rusted, I had to drill ome out. The burner gaskets broke during the process and needed replacement. One of the burners had deformed due to excess heat. After that initial diagnose, I reassembled the cooktop without the igniters and ordered all the parts I needed. The second stage was...

Dirty burner assemblies and worn and flakig burner grates Yvonne R. • Fernley , NV • March 11, 2015
Purchased new burner assemblies and burner grates from Appliance Parts Pros to replace old, worn out ones. This job was easy as all parts purchased were unpack and place. My range is about 15 years old but is in pristine condition so instead of replacing the range, I chose to replace dirty, worn parts.

I was having error codes F20 and F34 while using the oven and F34 many times when not in use Paul D. • Punta Gorda , FL • March 24, 2021
I did some research on my own and then spoke with the “Pros” at Appliance Parts Pros. Both confirmed the main board needed to be changed. The other less likely item was the oven sensor. I changed the sensor first as it was inexpensive. The error codes continued. Subsequently, I then changed the main board which was slightly difficult. When changing 2 screws hold the board in place on each front corner only. Also suggest you take a picture of wiring. I replaced wiring in place from old board to...

Igniter was lighting but gas wouldn't ignite Timothy G. • Lumberton , NJ • December 21, 2014
Igniter was lighting but gas wouldn't ignite. I would see the igniter light up and smell some gas, but the flame would not light. After looking at some websites, it seemed that the igniter was weak and wouldn't cause ignition, even though it was glowing. Since the part numbers were the same, I switched the broiler and the oven igniters. The oven began working and the broiler wouldn't light. So, I ordered the new part (igniter) and replaced the broken one.
I had to pull the oven away from...

Igniter housing attachment corroded away John V. • East Quogue , NY • January 13, 2017
The constant cooking and age of the appliance I repaired corroded the housing attachment that holds the igniter in place to the burner. Also the screws that hold the burner in place to the stove cover were also corroded which caused the burner itself to not stay in place but fall into the stove. By using a screw driver, lift up on the sides of the stove cover to pop the clips that hold it in place. Use a block of wood to hold up the stove cover. On the model I worked on, the igniter removes...
