Refrigerator Timer Control Knob Parts

The guy from sears quoted 450 dollars to replace the control board. That's an huge amount of money to throw on a fridge that's is only 3 years old. Did some research online and cane across appliancepartpros website and they had the parts for 130. Ordered it it was shipped to me in 2 days. The repair was easy. I tool the trim cover off of the front paneland there were 2 philip screws holding the control board ,removed the screws and removed the 3 mole connectors from the control board .the whole... We replaced the controller board and installed a surge protctor. The challenge was accessing the board It was underneath the refrigerator. We tipped the appliance and placed a couple of 2 x 4 pieces under the front edge. Read more

First I took the technical data sheet off the back of the unit, it was in a brown envelop taped and tucked into the lower equipment cover. • Won't start

My fridge was often reaching 60-70 degrees but would work well when motor/fans were running; it just wasn't cooling regularly. Using the model number of the frig, I located the part (Interface Dispenser Asm) on the AppliancePartsPros.com. The freezer would cool down to 0 degrees after being plugged in but once it hit zero the freezer failed to keep it there, it would warm back to room temp.
