Easy. Opened the front panel, removed the timer, went on line with the part number. Part arrived the next day and I installed it in 2 minutes. FIXED. Read more

Took out old timer, and upon inspection notice some electrical arcing( burned areas). I installed new timer and worked perfectly. Problem was that it would fill up with water, but after it was filled the timer kept going but washer was not agitating. Only thing that worked was delicates wash. The basin would fill but would not agitate, there was no sound, no grinding noises, no sound of a motor running without agitation due to a broken belt. The basin full of water was able to drain if I advanced the timer to Spin. By playing around with the timer dial further, I could get every function of the washer to operate, at least partially. Started out as a replacement of the coupling between the motor and the basket transmission ( 2 of the 3 legs on the transmission side broken.. )... Bought a new pump, since I would have it off... or so I thought.. Metal output shaft into pump + years of moisture = pump rusted on. Put it all back together - runs fine... for a while.. This is the second time this issue has come about. Bosch would tell you that you have a brushless motor. This is not true. If you get on youtube.com you can see how you can replace the brushes in your motor. Brush replacement. $50. New motor using a appliance repair man $500. Read more

I watched videos on the website and took it apart. Put new motor on, also I put new belt even though the original belt was still ok, but I saw a little sign of shredding ...and there! !! Checked circuit breaker to d/w first. Good. Went to website to see no power issues. Most all of them mentioned the noise filter being the problem. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches. All the information I found on the website really made this a easy job to get done. Read more

Got help from the internet to diagnose the problem. Seens that the neutral drain part of the transmission will not shift to spin unless there is a pause after draining. Thought the problem might be in the transmission but found the timer wasn;t allowing a pause after draining.therefore the machine would not spin. Replaced the timer and problem was solved. After unplugging the washer from the electrical outlet, the top of the washer was removed without a problem in order to allow easy access to the Central Control Unit (CCU) at the top of the back end of the washer. A cell phone was used to photograph the wiring layout and connectors plugged into the CCU, and then all connectors and the harness were carefully removed from the CCU without incident.
