Ordered a new drain hose and extension part. The prices including shipping were more reasonable than driving back and forth to the store just to piece meal parts together. Very frustrating. Followed the video- opened the front of the dryer and removed the drum. It was evident that one of the wheels had worn and wasn't turning freely like the other one. The video showed how to remove the roller. Very simple process and now the dryer works just fine. Read more

Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP. I ended up finding the Dryer schematic on line for the Whirlpool Duet natural gas dryer and was able to figure out what sequence the Spring, regulator and limiter went in. The order I just... First I looked at the many you tube vids, and there are many. appliance parts pros pretty much shows you how to deal with the parts. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. I think that brake lockup or improper brake release was the problem that broke the plastic cam driver. This was the broken plastic part making all the ticking noise.
