This is a coin collection box designed for coin-operated commercial laundry machines. It slides into the coin mechanism housing and collects coins deposited by users, and it comes with a key for access. Replace this coin box if the key no longer works, the box is damaged or bent preventing proper insertion, or if coins are jamming or falling through due to wear.
I drilled old lock out and installed new lock box. This was the info your Tech had given me and as always your Techs are on top of all situations. I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. Replaced the blower pulley. When the pulley spins off the blower shaft, it will damage the threads so it is important to replace the pulley and I would recommend using Loctite thread locker to keep the new pulley from spinning off. The threads on the blower shaft will most likely get damaged as well and I would recommend replacing the blower shaft. I did not order the blower shaft because it does not show up on a diagram and I had to go purchase a die to chase the threads before the new pulley... Read more
