I researched on found 4 possibilities that could cause a leaky door. I ran some test and eliminated 2 of the causes. last 2 causes based on what I read would be the door gasket or the barrier shield. The door gasket appeared to be in good shape so I ordered the barrier shield This part is different from the original part and there was no way to hold it in place. I did some research online and figured out that I needed to replace the control module. I tried the other possible solutions first but they did not work. I ordered the part and it arrived in a few days. I had to remove the back panel on the door of the dishwasher with a screwdriver and Torx bit to access the module. I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts.
