Supports smooth rotation of the spray arm hub in your dishwasher. Replace if cracked, worn, or broken to restore proper spray arm movement and alignment.
My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? After doing the obvious things of checking the simp for garbage, and checking that the discharge hose wasn't blocked, I removed my discharge pump ( not too hard to do) and tested. My pump which did run and turn the impeller. However, the pump evidently had weakened with time and weakened and could no longer pump the waste water up hill to the "T" connection under the sink. Replacement wheel for dishwasher upper rack. Snaps onto rack frame to allow smooth sliding in and out. Needed when wheels crack, break, or dry out.
I watched a video on how to change these. I had ordered one a month ago because one had failed. I had no trouble --less than 30 seconds -- to insert a new for the bad one. Then a few weeks later, a 2nd one failed -- there are 4 of them -- and I figured that I might as well change out the bad one as well as the two "good" original ones. Total time to change out the 3 was less than two minutes and that included getting the rack completely out of the dishwasher...which you have to do in... Read more

After removal of drain hose from the pump, discovered that drain hose was connected to water inlet assembly which also needed removal to... Read more
Fix a dishwasher that won't spray water or makes grinding sounds. This circulation motor pumps water through spray arms. Moderate DIY repair.
My dishwasher was running super loud for several loads but appeared to be cleaning just fine. One day it went from super loud to hardly a sound at all, not even the sound of water. After finding this site I found others with similar issues and it pointed to the Circulation Motor. Normally I wouldn't feel comfortable with pulling the dishwasher out of it's slot and performing this type repair but after watching the video posted along side the pictures of the part it looked pretty easy so I took... Dishwasher not filling with water or leaking when off? The water inlet valve controls flow during wash cycles. DIY repair typically under 30 minutes.
First I cleared the food chopper area. There were things there, bits of plastic for instance, but it wasn't the reason for the dishes not getting sprayed off. The dishwasher continued to only partially fill and not circulate the water. I started the dishwasher, let the pump start and then opened the door and filled up the dishwasher manually. It sprayed water as it should, cleaning the top rack quite well. I figured the issue was not the float switch, since some water was coming in. So I... Read more

Dishwasher won't power on or display lights? This thermal fuse kit protects against overheating. Easy 10-minute DIY fix with video instructions.
I first verified the house panel circuit breaker was not tripped. It wasn't so I removed the bottom kick plate of the unit, using a circuit cricket I verified the power feed to the unit was live. The bottom kick plate had a trouble shooting guide in a plastic sleeve which I opened and reviewed. Based on information in there it appeared the TOC was likely the issue.
