Check compressor with my Hotwire kit I made when I worked for GE. When removing the compressor relay it broke in pieces. Ordered and replaced new relay, overload & run capacitor. Still did not work. Ordered replacement seals for both freezer and refrigerator sides. Followed directions that I had found on YouTube. The installation in a nut shell is warm the seals in a bathtub with very hot water for at least 2-3hrs then place the seals. Then warm the seals with a hair dryer as needed. Had some confusion of what part I needed, needed the one with the motor and thermostat. Fortunately, I've been fixing wiring for many years, I simply cut the new motor out of the harness, and used that nice glue-inside-heat-shrink tubing to seal the soldered 'Western Union' style splices. New light socket and lamps fit fine, worked fine, new motor is fine, problem resolved.
