Had to purchase a new filter as the felt does not feed back into the ridge in the filter. It seems to me that the felt should not pull out so easily. This moisture sensor consists of two metal strips typically mounted inside the dryer drum area that detect the moisture level in clothing during a drying cycle. It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed.
