I purchased the lid latch assembly and the lid switch strike. Following the clear video instructions for each part, my handy teenage son was able to remove the lid latch assembly and replace it with the new part as well as the lid switch strike. I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. I went on line and read your advice page. Based on that, I removed the damper assembly (six screws counting the miserable light fixture) and found the damper door broken as predicted. I went back to your page and ordered the new part. Nice breakdown to get number. After that, I disassembled the damper assembly, found that the ABS plastic damper had broken from the actuator probably as a result of fatigue from cycling back and forth for twelve years. Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more
