This pump outlet seal sits on the discharge side of the dishwasher pump to keep the outlet connection watertight. Replacing a worn seal helps stop leaks and keeps wash water contained during the cycle. What it does:
I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). This genuine OEM part is a refrigerator upper dishrack. The upper dishrack is the tray on which dishes are placed on the top shelf of a dishwasher. If the dishrack is no longer sliding on its tracks, or is not staying in place during the wash cycle, it might need to be replaced. Luckily this is a very simple repair.To replace the upper dishrack, simply pull out the old dish rack and lift it up out of its tracks. Once removed from the dishwasher, take the new dishrack and gently slide it into place. Make sure it is placed correctly and that it is running smoothly on its tracks.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand dishwashers.

Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing. There is a split at the 3 O'clock position. Color: white. It measures about 3 inches wide by 4 inches high.
We had to take the clips off the side arms to remove the upper basket. Then we turned it upside down to easily access the supply tube. There was one screw that held the assembly in place. We removed that and then replaced the part and put it back together. The feed tube holder just clipped to the upper basket. Read more
