My wife put the faceplate on the oven control while I accessed the display by pulling the oven out, unplugged it, and removed the rear cover. Only three nut head screws held the upper back panel. 4 nut screws hold the display onto the oven, they were easily removed. My wife took a couple photos of the rear wiring to ensure we plugged the new oven control in properly (there are a fair number of wires but they are color coded in most cases). Took top apart to find out that the problem was just the lens for the light was broken. Come to find out that the lens is what holds the light in place. I replaced the latch and handle assembly. It's easy when you see how it goes together. Unscrew the two screws under the front edge of the stovetop, have a helper lift the stovetop up, unscrew the six screws holding the metal plate down and remove the plate, unplug the wires connected to the latch switch, and unscrew the two front screws holding the latch assembly in place. Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Read more

This leveling leg is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Leveling legs are used on the bottom of stoves to correct imbalances on the cooking top caused by floors being unlevel. The leveling leg is threaded so that it can be adjusted up or down as needed. There are four holes for leveling legs on the stove's bottom. Each leg can be adjusted independently. If the legs are missing or lost, these replacements will help level the stove for more even cooking. When the stove is not level, the food inside pans will be unlevel and not cook evenly.Make sure the power is disconnected before installing the leveling leg. Tilt the stove back and place a chock underneath one side so that the leg can be screwed up or down as needed. Remove the chock and check for level. Dismantled the upper part of the stove and removed old part. Had to super glue plastic parts of the underneath part where the touch pad is to be attached to. Put in new touch pad. Worked fantastic. Read more
