This top coupling links two drive components in select washers to transfer rotation smoothly. Replacing a worn or stripped coupling restores consistent agitation/spin and can reduce slipping, rattling, or grinding noises from the drive area. What it does:

I replaced the Ice Dispenser Lever. Since the replacement part is only available in white and my fridge is bone, I replaced also the Water Dispenser Lever, so it looks much better. Replacement actuator pad for refrigerator water and ice dispensers. Snaps into dispenser panel. Replace if cracked, broken, or tabs are damaged.
Super easy fix, remove two screws behind drop tray, unplug the wiring harness to dispenser, unplug and remove old pad, then snap new one into place. Reconnect harness. Took less than 5 minutes, works like new. Read more

Easy to remove the metal parts from the old bin. The only problem was that the screw that holds the adapter has red thread locker and screwdriver rounded off the head of the screw. Drilled the screw and heated the screw to loosen the thread locker and used an ease out to remove the screw. Read more
