Turned off water behind the fridge. Unscrewed housing that covered water lines behind the filter base with a 1/4" socket. Replacement actuator paddle for refrigerator ice and water dispensers. Installs on the freezer door. Needed when the original is cracked, broken, or missing.
Removed complete housing, including the actuator to dispense ice; plastic cemented, with reinforcing strips of cloth to reinforce repair on left hand side of assembly. Then installed new actuator part from Appliance Parts, plugged in wires, then had to plastic cement the pack on back of the new actuator back on, as it had come loose.
