Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose. However, due to the disassembly involved to get to it, I decide to also change a couple of other parts involved in the defrost process, which are also located in the same compartment as the defrost thermostat. The video was very helpful, but my KitchenAid model required slightly more steps. Only the two screws in front held the filter housing, same as the video shows, but it has to be removed from the rear. My model did not have the wire brace, only the two front screws held the housing. Shut the water off and pull the electrical plug. Remove the two screws holding the filter housing in the front.
