First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... First I looked at the many you tube vids, and there are many. appliance parts pros pretty much shows you how to deal with the parts. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. I think that brake lockup or improper brake release was the problem that broke the plastic cam driver. This was the broken plastic part making all the ticking noise. I first changed the coupling on the motor but that wasn't bad. in... Read more
Secures suspension springs to the washer tub assembly. Replace if cracked, worn, or missing to prevent tub instability during wash and spin cycles.
When I removed the cabinet, all of the springs appeared in tact, I had already replaced the counter balance spring so I knew that was not the issue. None of the suspension springs or brackets were broken but they did look worn/rusty so I replaced all of the brackets (2 in front and 1 large in back), all of the suspension spring retainers, and all of the suspension springs and it fixed the issue! I plan to also replace the Self leveling leg spring which is an easy fix since it's on the back of... Read more

Cracked or broken bleach dispenser cup causing leaks or improper dispensing? This replacement cup restores proper bleach delivery. Easy 10-minute fix.
The washer would work fine except it wouldn't spin unless you opened the lid and waited a split second for it to stop. You would hear a bang, then when you closed the lid, it would spin. Since it made that bang noise, I thought the transmission was going bad, so I replaced that. Nope, still the same. So, after a little more research, I found out that the motor has to come to a complete stop for the transmission to go into spin mode. After pulling out the timer and inspecting it, I noticed... Fixes washers that won't advance through cycles or stop mid-cycle. Timer controls wash cycle progression and automatic shutoff. DIY install in 10-20 minutes.
I could not find specific online instructions for this job. Here are some tips. 1. Unplug the washer. 2. Unscrew the dial on the broken timer. 3. Gently pry up the thin plastic place-indicator plate (the thing with the arrow under the dial) with two flathead screwdrivers. 4. Unscrew the two hex screws holding the old timer in place. 5. Unscrew the phillips-head screws holding the console in place and flip up the console. 6. Remove the electrical connector from the bad timer, and remove the bad... Read more
Prevents oil leaks from your washer's gearcase and keeps internal components lubricated. Replace if you notice oil pooling under the machine.
Replaced clutch assembly, gearcase input shaft seal and motor coupler. When I disassembled the washer I realized the shaft seal on the top of the gearcase was leaking and not the input shaft seal. So had to order more parts before I could finish this job. Altogether I replaced agitator dogs, both seals on the gearcase, the clutch assembly and the motor coupler. Agitator dogs replacement is a very easy job, no tools required, takes less that 5 minutes and made a huge difference with how well... Read more

The parts I purchased from Appliance Parts Pro fit perfectly and were reasonably priced. I received them the next day, which made the Wife (and me) very happy. Although Appliance Parts Pro did not have a repair video for this, I was able to find one online and the machine is washing like new again. The website is well laid out and easy to find what your looking for. Between the available parts and the videos they provide, anyone who is reasonably handy should be able to repair their machine as... Read more
