I loosened middle hinge by the 2 screws which holds a power cord that clips together, then slid the hinge flap upward to release from the door. My bottom clip hinge was broken away from spring and the only way to attach a new hinge clip was to carefully separate the hinge flap. The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. Replaced all 3 gaskets with gaskets from appliancepartspros.com. Gaskets took less than 10 minutes to replace and fit perfect! Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. I took all the items out of the refrigerator. Removed the screws that hold the cover over the evaporator motor. Than for three hours used a hair drier to remove ice. The panel was frozen on if you pull on it it will break. Soaked up all the water removed the panel and took the fan blade off. That was difficult because it looks like a regular screw head however, you need to push in that which will cause it to release the blades and than push it onto the new motor. Ordered the replacement cap handles (left and right side), and replaced them. Replacing was a breeze, but removing the old broken part was a bit challenging. There was a small metal rod that needed to be slid out for the old part to come out, but it was not easy to do. I used screwdriver and pliers for like 30 minutes to slide out the metal rod. I bought the defrost-clip (clip-drain-evap), but once I took the refrigerator apart--the large plastic "back" had frozen to the rest and left the insulation in pieces when I tried to pull it apart. Verified that the water line had flowing water, check. Removed lower screen and vacuumed and cleaned all dust. Proceeded to test water flow to the valve and beyond the valve.
