Since I could not find the correct thermistor from the schematic provided, I ordered the thermistor harness for the evaporator. I cut the harness and spliced it to the sheared thermistor wires on the roof of the freezer compartment. It now works fine with a little "farmer ingenuity" help. I loosened middle hinge by the 2 screws which holds a power cord that clips together, then slid the hinge flap upward to release from the door. My bottom clip hinge was broken away from spring and the only way to attach a new hinge clip was to carefully separate the hinge flap. This can be done by squeezing the flap to see where the separation seams are. Small narrow screwdrivers along with a spatula will do without damaging the plastic. The amount of water being dispensed into the ice cube tray was excessive, causing overflow of the tray. The water then ran into the collection bin and even down the side walls of the freezer creating a huge block of ice in the bin, and ice all over the lower shelves as well. Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. Replaced all 3 gaskets with gaskets from appliancepartspros.com. Gaskets took less than 10 minutes to replace and fit perfect! I checked the refrigerator and freezer compartments approx 6 hrs later and found the compartments to be a few degrees colder. Freezer ice was cold and loose, not stuck together. Took a bit to diagnose. First tried cleaning coils but the problem still persisted. Next took of the back panel and put the system into diag mode. (Press energy save button and fridge button for eight seconds system ding once a second and inverter board red LED will blink a code or be on solid if no issue. I took all the items out of the refrigerator. Removed the screws that hold the cover over the evaporator motor. Than for three hours used a hair drier to remove ice. The panel was frozen on if you pull on it it will break. Soaked up all the water removed the panel and took the fan blade off. That was difficult because it looks like a regular screw head however, you need to push in that which will cause it to release the blades and than push it onto the new motor. Ordered the replacement cap handles (left and right side), and replaced them. Replacing was a breeze, but removing the old broken part was a bit challenging.
