Replacement door hinge for front-load washers and dryers. Attaches door to cabinet for smooth opening and closing. Needed when hinge is cracked or worn.
I ordered the new hinge and the cap they said would be needed, took the door apart and installed new hinge. Only problem, wish they told me I needed 4 of the caps, for one hinge and each cap was 11.95 x 4...pretty spendy. Fortunately I was able to reuse 3 of my worn ones for now. Read more
Hinge pin bushing for front-load washers. Provides a pivot point for the door hinge. Replace if worn, cracked, or causing the door to drop or sag.
Fix F06 E01/E02 error codes or washer that won't spin or fill. Direct plug-in replacement takes 30-45 minutes with basic tools. Includes video guide.
The washer would try to start. The door would lock, but then would get stuck in the phase of start-up where the drum needs to roll around (I assume so it knows what's in there). It would sit and think about it for a couple minutes and then give the error codes. I shut it off (sometimes had to unplug it and plug it back in), and it would take about 10 minutes for the door to unlock. After reading about fixes, I decided to dive in and try it (the washer is only 3 years old and I'm pretty... Read more
Fix F20 or FH water flow errors with a new flow meter. Common cause of fill problems and suds errors. Easy 5-minute DIY repair with video guide included.
This should be plastered all over the place and every owner of a front end washer should be advised or a recall should be issued about this. As I opened the top of my washer to fix a F35 error by replacing the water level switch, which worked out great and it fixed the issue, I noticed a rusting spot at the bottom of the washer just under where the motor is placed. After running the washer with the lid open (I don't recommend doing that) I noticed that it was coming from the top of the soap... Read more
Fix F26 or F22 error codes and washer won't start issues. This door latch assembly ensures proper closure and signals wash cycle start. DIY-friendly repair.
First I check with Appliance Part Pros, watch videos how to access the parts I believe to be the problem. I love there videos and parts list of solutions to fix what it wrong. First I removed the washer from the laundry room and but it in the garage for more room to work on it. The next thing I replaced was the door lock which seem to be a possible cheap fix and does get a lot of abuse, however it was not the door lock and people should stop posting it could be this issue when they get a F06... Secures the outer boot seal clamp for a watertight seal around your washer door. Replace if you notice leaking around the door during cycles.
Replaced all rubber and plastic hoses coming into and exiting the washer discharge pump. They where gummed up with mold and slime. WOW it stopped all odor from discharge into the utility sink. This model required that the whole front of the washing machine be removed which was very intimidating, but after watching the video from Appliance Parts Pros it was easy, I also replaced discharge pump and the bellows since I had it apart anyway and it was 5 years old. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros I... Read more
Prevents water leaks around the washer door during cycles. Replace if torn, stretched, or causing musty odors. Verify fit with your model number.
Ordered and replaced bellow. It is important to supply the correct model number as my machine is a later model than the one used in the training video. The front panel is one piece, rather than two. Additionally, several of the fasteners were hex head screws, rather than torks. The Bellow is somewhat different having an opening for the light fixture. That said, the video was adequate to get the general idea of how to remove and replace the bellow. I found it very difficult to replace... Read more
Secures the inner door boot seal to prevent leaks in front-load washers. Replace if damaged, corroded, or when seal won't stay in place. Verify fit.
Ordered and replaced the bellows. The video was a great help; but as others have mentioned, later models have small differences. Check your model number. I'll second everything said in the review dated Nov 10, 2018; including the part about getting an assistant to hold the outer retention ring in place while you are stretching the spring. Read more
Fix F30 error code or clicking noise from soap dispenser area with this actuator. Controls detergent release timing. Easy 20-minute DIY repair with video.
After watching the YouTube video provided by Appliancepartspros and checking various forums I determined the dispenser motor had gone out. Turns out, it was a two part problem. The connectors to the motor, and the motor had corroded. Cleaned them both with vinegar. The old motor did a load before I started having problems with the CCU. I didn't learn about the CCU needing a reset under the quick diagnostics until after replacing the motor and the new part doing the same thing. Both the new... Read more
Drain hose for washing machines. Connects tub to pump to carry water during drain cycles. Replace if cracked, leaking, or damaged. Includes anti-siphon ball.
Repairing the problem was the easy part. Diagnosing the problem took a little more time. To diagnose the problem, it took longer because I first cleaned the Drain Pump trap from all the material it collected. Socks, hair pins, and other materials that were not cleaned from pants pockets. It then still did not drain. Repeated the process after finding more materials and a toy that punctured the hose between the tub and the drain pump. Running the drain and spin cycle takes about 11... Secures water and drain hoses in washers to prevent leaks. Replace if connections loosen or clamp shows corrosion. Confirm fit with your model number.
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Fix a washer that won't fill, has an F20 error, or leaks water between loads. This water inlet valve controls flow during fill cycles. DIY repair.
Saw the drip, ordered the part. Unplugged machine from wall. Torx bit on my DeWalt cordless drill to remove the screws securing the lid to the machine, lifted off top cover. Turned off water supply and removed the water supply hoses from back of the machine, used needle-nosed pliers to remove spring clamps from the defective part, removed mounting screw for defective part at rear of machine. Worked the defective part out of mounting, unplugged the three electrical connectors. Then, plugged in... Read more
