Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Read more

I took the machine screws out of the outer panel for the right side only. Then pull the panel back a bit to release the lips from the front of the machine and had immediate access to the internal assembly that housed mounting nut. First, I just unscrewed all nuts that are holding the frame and all surface elements. Once all parts, surface elements, control switches, are loose from the original glass, I just moved all parts to the new glass. Due to the weight of the glass, all actions have to be done carefully as I broken one corner of the glass couple of years ago when I replaced one of the control switch. Read more

Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. The burners and drip pans that I previously ordered fit this stove perfectly. It is so much better cooking on the cook stove with the burners laying properly. I'm very pleased. My only complaint is that I wish more parts were available for this old stove, I really love it! Read more

After watching numerous videos I was able to discern that the problem was with one of the following: the timer, the heater, or the thermostat. a short time check showed me that the timer was working so that narrowed it down to the other two. Not having the necessary tools to check those two I ordered both parts. First guess was the Bake Element, but I ran my hands around it and didn't feel any clue of a break/failure in the element. Further research indicated that the Hot Wire Relay is the next likely cause, that was really bad news because that part is unavailable anywhere. Swapped the H1 and H2 wires on the Hot Wire Relay, and found that Broil still worked, which indicated that the relay was good and the Bake Element was the likely cause.
