Looked at YouTube on how to replace burner. Marked wires on each fitting with different color marker and took Ipad photo of underside while my wife held range top up. We had shut off range double breaker in basement. I took part to a local appliance parts house nd they ordered prt which they did not have in stock. Estimate 3days. I called on 3rd day, back ordered, maybe ship,on the 7th day. Called 7th day, maybe two more weeks. Got online, on Fri. Afternoon, you had part, shipped it that...

The small broiler hadn't worked for years then the small oven stopped working Robert H. • Nashville , TN • February 06, 2015
Appliance Parts Pro' 1" gridded photos of elements helped insure I got the right bake and broil elements for my stove. Super fast shipping was promised in two days and came in one day. The tough part of the repair was getting the rusted sheet metal screws off to remove the old elements. The tough part of the purchase was that no one had an index of parts by the old GE model numbers. For the first time in years both ovens of our GE 1971 40" double stove work.

One surface element and part of the top glass are broken Jason S. • Cupertino , CA • November 18, 2014
First, I just unscrewed all nuts that are holding the frame and all surface elements. Once all parts, surface elements, control switches, are loose from the original glass, I just moved all parts to the new glass. Due to the weight of the glass, all actions have to be done carefully as I broken one corner of the glass couple of years ago when I replaced one of the control switch.

Burned out oven bake element Richard S. • Camano Island , WA • May 19, 2015
Very easy fix. Remove oven door by just opening it slightly and pulling up. (an easy way to clean it too). Then, with a phillips screw driver, remove two screws holding the damaged element in place. Slowly pull the element toward the front a couple inched to expose the wires. Disconnect the wires (no tools needed), remove the old element and replace it with the new. Reverse the past few steps and re-attach the wires and screw. Simple as that. I also chose to replace the Broiler Element as a...

Burners and knobs missing or not working properly Barbara H. • Batesville , AR • February 16, 2015
The burners and drip pans that I previously ordered fit this stove perfectly. It is so much better cooking on the cook stove with the burners laying properly. I'm very pleased. My only complaint is that I wish more parts were available for this old stove, I really love it!

Ice build up in top freezer of refrigerator Kevin S. • Mission Viejo , CA • May 13, 2015
After watching numerous videos I was able to discern that the problem was with one of the following: the timer, the heater, or the thermostat. a short time check showed me that the timer was working so that narrowed it down to the other two. Not having the necessary tools to check those two I ordered both parts. Once the parts came and I took out the old parts it was quite evident that it was the heater since it had black burn marks on it. I decided to install the thermostat also since it...

Thermador prds366 bake didn't heat but broil works normally Gary D. • Los Altos Hills , CA • March 16, 2015
First guess was the Bake Element, but I ran my hands around it and didn't feel any clue of a break/failure in the element. Further research indicated that the Hot Wire Relay is the next likely cause, that was really bad news because that part is unavailable anywhere. Swapped the H1 and H2 wires on the Hot Wire Relay, and found that Broil still worked, which indicated that the relay was good and the Bake Element was the likely cause. This was good news because that Hot Wire Relay is made...
