This terminal block provides an insulated, secure junction for incoming power or harness leads inside the appliance. Replacing a cracked, loose, or heat-damaged block restores a safe, reliable connection and helps prevent arcing or intermittent power.
- Creates a fixed, insulated junction between external supply wires and internal appliance wiring
- Maintains tight screw-lug connections to minimize resistance and heat buildup
- Helps ensure steady power delivery to controls, motors, and heaters
- Common indicators of failure: melted/discolored block, burning odor, visible arcing, loose or stripped terminals, intermittent or no power
What's included: 1 terminal block Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker and verify zero voltage before servicing
- Photograph/label wire positions; transfer one lead at a time to the new block
- Tighten terminal screws firmly; do not overtighten into the insulator
- Inspect wire ends/ring terminals and strain relief; replace any heat-damaged components per the service information

Ice maker would not dispense ice and chute/container would frost over Theo S. • Tallahassee , FL • October 01, 2014
When diagnosing the problem, I discovered that the ice door was not properly sealing and that the solenoid had appeared to rust/corrode forcing the door open.
I replaced most of the ice dispenser internals (solenoid, crank, door, and spring) following the video.
The door will now open when dispensing ice (which it does!), and will oddly stay open for a few seconds once I am finished, but does seal properly and the chute/container no longer frosts over.

Swapped the H1 and H2 wires on the Hot Wire Relay, and found that Broil still worked, which indicated that the relay was good and the Bake Element was the likely cause. This was good news because that Hot Wire Relay is made...
