• No hot or cold water

I tested the Atc. mid level switch, with my multi tester and found it was not sending enough current to the cold water inlet valve, so it would not open and let cold water in. I replaced the switch, (it was a snap) literally it snapped in place. replace the front face and turned the water back on and plugged in the washer, and turned it on. It worked perfect and has been since. good and easy repair even for a novice like me.. Read more

• Won't start

1) Ordered part. 2) Removed front panel by loosening the two screws at the bottom front. 3) Removed old Safety Switch/Lid Lock by disconnecting wires (plug and 2 female disconnects) 4) Reconnected all wires and reinstalled switch. 5) Replaced front panel. 6) Tested Unit. 7) FYI - I found that the locking mechanism stays locked until cycle completely finishes on its own. DO NOT force the cycle to end. Lid will NOT unlock. Read more

Every time I tried to start our dryer, the "Sensing Light" came on, I heard a little "click," and the dryer would not start. According to the very helpful Appliance Parts Pros. videos, I was able to dismantle, diagnose a few components, and discover the broken part. In this case, it was a Broken Belt Switch. I had removed three screws behind the control board cover of the washer, to access the old lid switch. I checked the continuety of the of the switch with a multimeter and it obviously failed the the test by displaying infinity of <1, rather than being 0. I removed the old switch with a flathead screw driver, I tested the new one and installed it in no time. Problem solved!!! Read more

After the part arrives, I was double check to make sure I got the right part. Importantly, unplug the electrical power first before do anything, also turn off the water hose for safety. Then removed 4 screw out side panel and 2 screw in side to get lose. After all, replaced a new part and put all panel and screw back together. Removed front and top panels of washer, removed old switch assembly. Then mounted and hooked up new switch assembly, put panels back on, turned on power and unit now works fine. Thanks for the quick delivery on the part...our total machine down time was only 36 hours. Biggest difficulty was getting the machine out of its position to work on it! Read more

Machine was a front load washer, after doing some research found that problem is usually caused by pressure sensor or the spider arm which attaches motor to tub. Read more

Was set to pull the trigger on a new washer since this one was 10+ years old. Broke a $25 lid switch fumbling to get the washer open before I found the appliancepros video library. Once I got things apart the right way I was able to diagnose the problem in 5 minutes. Identified the $10 part needed. Got the $10 coupling and the $25 switch and had the washer working like new in 20 minutes. I'm pretty proud of myself.. not going to tell anyone about the $25 switch. Read more

Removed front of dryer panel, removed top, and removed drum. Replaced motor and wheel, because the old wheel was rusted on the motor shaft, and could not be removed, so I had to break it off. Replaced motor, and reassembled. Everything works now. I also replace the switch-Pb, because the start button was getting stuck. Read more

After trouble shooting what f21 error was. I cleaned all hoses from the tube hose to all discharge hoses. I actually replace the washer discharge hose. I still got the same error. I had a few conversations with your service techs. They gave me great advice each time I called.
