Ordered the part on line, rec. in record time, open the front panel of the dishwasher, unplugged the cable, replaced with new one by plugging into the connector. Help was needed only to hold the panels for lining up the screw hols, and secure couple screws on either side. Max. 15 minutes, from the time of opening the package. The parts from AppliancePartsPros.com arrived a day ahead of schedule. (I'm a big APP.com fan.) I removed the metal front door panel, then removed the broken plastic Panel-Facia which houses the handle. Because the buttons and handle trim needed to be transferred from the old Panel-Facia to the new one, I expected that, also being plastic, they may break when making the transfer, so I ordered all of those parts as well, which only drove the cost up about $32. You need to remove the entire compactor basket, so that can be a little unwieldy. There are 8 total Phillips head screws. Two on each side of the wrap-around portion of the panel, two on the bottom of the panel, and two larger screws that are used to hold the foot pedal in place. The two lower screws on the bottom of the panel also screw through the rubber stop strip on the bottom of the basket. The upper rack on the dishwasher fell apart as in the 3 of 4 wheels kept falling off the axle. This is the second time I am replacing these wheels in 12 years. This replacement assembly is metal with rivets holding on the wheels as opposed to the plastic tabs which became brittle and fell off which allowed the wheels to then fall off. It's an easy fix. Just remove the two screws holding it in place. Then it will be easier to remove the supply line. Disconnect the quick-connect wires. Remove the rubber hose and clamp. Attach the rubber hose and clamp to new part, attach supply line, attach wires and then screw back into place with screws. Turn on the water and test for leaks. Read more

Literally took no more than 15 minutes. I unscrewed the back panel of the door, unplugged the old keypad and pealed off the old keypad. I used rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the surface where the new keypad would go. Then I slid the new keypad into place and plugged it in. Peal off the adhesive backing and stick the new keypad down, reattach the door panel and you are good to go. Read more
