Chopper screen was completely blocked. Chopper blades separated from the shaft. Retainer ring came off of the shaft but was able to re install the chopper assembly. Worked fine after cleaning the screen and reassembly the lower spray arm. Lower spray arm hub tab broke when removing so purchased a new one with a new bearing. After taking off the top and front panels to access the drum, it was easy to see what the problem was. The front drum support was worn through and the 3 drum support glides were gone. The rear drum bearing was also completely worn out. And while I had the dryer apart I also replaced the idler pulley and drive belt. The only hard part was putting the drive belt back on the motor shaft and idler pulley. The dryer is back to drying clothes like a new machine. Read more

Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. I did not see the old ones fall out, so I was not sure the exact product placement within the rail, which was frustrating, to say the least. For the next person's benefit....these slide into the MIDDLE of the rail that is attached to both sides of the dishwasher. Not the front, not the back, but the middle! Easy project. 6-year-old appliance. If one is failing replace all 4. The plastic race that holds the bearings becomes brittle and breaks dropping the bearings into the dishwasher tub.
