The Gas Oven Ignitor is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire gas ranges and ovens. It uses electricity to generate a spark that ignites the burner flames for heating. I replaced the probe which is a thermocouple. Naturally the connector was different from the one on the stove so I cut off the connector on the old probe and soldered it to the new probe. I tried swapping the cables around by putting the cables from the burners that would light onto the ones that didn't light. When I did that the problem would move. So this is how i determined that the issue was with this module and not the burners or cables. Replaced igniter and orifice assembly, and replaced spark module. Used the video for help, but the video doesn't show the top cover piece that needs to be taken off first. Also the screws for the igniter set were stuck from old grease or something and had to be drilled out. Overall the project was well worth my time for the cost vs replacement decision.
