Bought a Thermador PRSE48" dual fuel range from Craigslist really cheap because it didn't work. Did a little research and decided to overhaul most of the top (gas) end. After watching a youtube video, I disassembled the front cover on the cooktop (be sure to turn off the power supply). I then switched the potentiometers on two burners. The burner that was not working now worked and the burner that did work did not. Easy to find the culprit....ordered a new potentiometer from here and though I only got regular shipping, it was actually delivered the NEXT DAY! 5 minutes, put in the new part, and all burners work. My 18+ year old Jennair cooktop, PN CCG2520W was in need of a rebuild b/c of a welded venturi tube on the right front [RF] burner. In order to remove the glass top cover, you MUST remove the venturi tube. To do this you have to DRILL-OUT the venturi tube which requires a new venturi and orifice holder. First and foremost, don't believe everything you see on Youtube. In order to get to the gas solenoid that feeds the burner you MUST take the entire top off that side of the range. Remove the grates and burner tops. You will see 2x 20mm brass nut, or so it appears, that hold each burner in place on the splash/drip pan. Mounting screw secures burner components and panels on gas ranges. Replace if stripped, corroded, or broken to restore proper alignment and fit.
Removed two burner heads. Needed propane torch to heat two Torx head screws on each.. Soaked ignitor retainer Torx head screws in Nut Blaster. Got one out and broke the other. Scraped carbon/rust out of area that retainer sits in so ignitor was proper height and square/ plumb. That burner worked fine with old part. This OEM replacement part is a motor assembly for ovens. The motor assembly is the main motor that powers the oven fan which is responsible for maintaining and adjusting the temperature in an oven. If the oven is no longer heating properly, turning on, or maintaining temperature, then the motor assembly will need to be replaced.To replace this part, make sure that the oven is unplugged. After it has been powered off, proceed to pull the oven out and away from the wall. Once moved, uninstall the back panel of the oven by removing the panel's mounting screws. After detaching the back panel, locate the motor housing on the back of the oven. Unthread the screws that hold the housing in place. Once removed, locate the mounting brackets that hold the motor in place and remove the screws that attach to the motor. Pull the old motor out of its place and install the new motor.
