Well, I gotta say I was happy to find you still had parts for almost 20 year old microwaves. The microwave itself worked fine, so I hated to have to buy a new one, but I just couldn't take being hit in the head anymore; and my fix of using string and wire to tie it to the surrounding cabinets was unsightly to say the least. Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. Motor shaft was stripped, replaced with new shaft from Motor Seal Kit. Impeller was also cracked, so replaced it as well. I did run in to a small problem, the chopper blade was pressing against the metal grate on the piece that goes back over the motor seal. I spent about an hour messing with it, but thought maybe once it's all together it'll be fine. When you screw the impeller on, it pushes down the seals, which pushes down the chopper blade.
