Replacement spring for the flapper between French refrigerator doors. Installs in the lower hinge to close the gap automatically. Needed when broken or missing.
I thought fixing this door would be too difficult/expensive, so I just spent a week manually closing the flap myself each time I closed the frig. Then I googled the model number of the frig just for fun. The first result was AppliancePartsPros.com, I clicked ONE SINGLE TIME and I arrived at this site, with the exact part I needed listed at the top, and a repair tutorial video that played beautifully with one more click. In the span of two total clicks, I saw how to fix the frig, and I saw... Read more
Spring sleeve for French door refrigerators. Installs in the left door to support the automatic mullion flap mechanism. Replace if cracked or missing.
If your refrigerator has ice buildup on coils or water under crisper drawers, the defrost thermostat may have failed. DIY-friendly repair part.
Poped off plastics caseing inside the frigerator. Unscrewed 4 screws holding black fan inplace. Followed yellow wire to locate white sensor. Need to be careful not to break styrofoam, don't force it, it should seporate from plastic easy as long as the 4 screws are out. Swap it for the new one and button it back up. While I was in there I replaced the defrost sensor and the other sensor next to the heating rod. Also I know there is an issue with drain hole plugging up with ice so I extended the... Read more
Hinge for French door refrigerator mullion flap. Replace if cracked, broken, or damaged. Supports smooth door operation and proper seal alignment.
Ice maker not producing or dispensing ice? This ice maker assembly fixes water leaks, small cubes, and frozen clumps. Easy DIY install with one screw.
This appears to be a weak spot on these refrigerators; the left-door ice maker will stop making (or at least consistently making) ice. Instead, an ice dam is created, which builds up in the ice maker corridor, making even getting the slide-in bucket nearly impossible to remove. The ice also freezes up the ice making tray, which therefore cannot drop the ice cubes. Generally, two things may go wrong which lead to this issue. The first is the ice-making assembly; its electrical components... Read more
Plastic center hinge for French door refrigerators. Installs on the mullion assembly between left and right doors. Replace when cracked, broken, or snapped.
I ordered the French door housing, the new piece has a solid raised curved part that enters the guide, and a new center hinge. I watched both repair videos shown on appliance parts Pro. It looked pretty simple, so I got my 2 screw drivers and unplugged the refrigerator and started. The hardest part was removing the upper and lower hinges. The video didn’t show how he got them loose, after several minutes of frustration I figured out how to release the hinge. The new parts installed really... Read more
Fix freezer ice buildup & fridge not cooling. This temperature sensor regulates cooling cycles. DIY-friendly repair, takes about 45 minutes to install.
Replaced the inside back panel which comes with a new fan. Seems the old fan had stopped working due to ice which burned it out. The drain tube was blocked and ice built up on the bottom plate. Using a basting tube from Walmart and hot water I thawed out the ice in the tube. The basting tube became much like a toilet plunger and cleared the line rapidly. Nothing else worked as fast. I then bought a one foot long piece of thin solid copper wire from Lowes and stripped the insulation off. I... Read more

Replaces broken or missing handle mounting stud that secures refrigerator door handles. Installs into door to hold handle firmly in place.
Replaced broken handle support bracket (part #AP5620448) and cap (part #AP5620751). Used a phillips head screwdriver and allen wrench. Pliers also came in very handy. If replacing cap and support bracket, be sure to install cap before support bracket, otherwise you'll have trouble installing the cap. I ended up not needing to replace the fixer handle (part #AP4372038), but I'll keep it around just in case. Read more
Seals your freezer door to prevent cold air loss and frost buildup. Replace if torn, loose, or ice forms along the door edge. Confirm fit by model number.
After cleaning the seal the freezer continued to build frost so I started searching for a replacement freezer door seal. I found your site had one in stock but decided to contact Appliance Parts Pros by telephone to make sure I would order the correct seal. The employee was very polite and confirmed they had the seal in stock for my Samsung refrigerator. I ordered the seal and exactly two days later it was at my front door. I also need to mention that Appliance Parts Pros had the best price.... Read more
Plastic cover that protects the ice maker temperature sensor. Replaces broken, cracked, or missing covers to secure the sensor wire and foam insulation.
Samsung refrrigerator. it started when the setting was on cubes but was putting out crushed ice. then months later the water refill was running down into the ice bucket causing a massive block of ice in the bucket. look closely at the first two or three cubes in the ice tray after they unload. mine were not dumping and staying in the tray. when the water refill kicked on it would overfill the tray (because of the leftover cubes remaining in the tray) and would run down into the ice bucket... Securely houses your refrigerator's water filter for clean, purified water. Replace if leaking after filter changes or cracked from wear. Confirm fit by model.
After looking online and discovering that others who had used a knockoff brand filter to "save money" had the same problem, I concluded the only solution was to replace the filter housing. Found the one I needed on AppliancePartsPros.com. Most important to me was the video explaining how to replace the filter housing - it made the task a snap to complete. The price was also competitive with other sources. Shipping was half that charged by Samsung. Not only was it cheaper, but it was also super... Read more
Plastic end cap that covers the handle assembly on your refrigerator door. Replace when cracked, broken, or missing to restore a finished look.
The parts ordered were the correct ones as shown on the diagram provided on the website. The ship was quick (although expensive) and about 20 minutes after arrival the new parts were installed and the wife is happy again. 1. remove the top caps covering the brackets. (carefully) pull up on the front of the cover until it clicks and then slide toward the front and they come out. 2. you will need a phillips head screwdriver to remove the white and black brackets. After removing the screws the... Read more

We had a hard time finding a tutorial that showed how to replace the part of the handle that broke. After several attempts to fix on our own we gave up. A few weeks later a friend came to our house and we were discussing the fix for the handle and She helped me to fix the handle just buy trying a new way to remove the old broken part. It took us several tries but with her help I was able to fix the door handle and remove the broken part. I really wish your site had a tutorial for this... Read more
Freezer not cooling or fridge showing fan error? Your evaporator fan motor may have failed. This motor circulates cold air throughout your refrigerator.
The blower motor that circulates air through the refrigerator was broken. I had to remove all the shelving and drawers from the refrigerator. Then I had to remove the plastic light cover from the center of the fridge. Then I removed all visible screws to uncover the evaporator/radiator. I then unplugged the light bulb and motor wires. Luckily all wiring is keyed so that it can be plugged in again without error. I removed the motor by opening the motor housing. The housing has 1 screw and... Read more
