The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!? The bottom Door Seal/Gasket was badly worn, and the entire job took me around 30 minutes which included the detailed cleaning of the mating flanges. Take your... Read more
Replace your freezer door gasket to restore an airtight seal and prevent frost buildup. Worn or torn gaskets let warm air in, causing ice formation and soft food. Confirm fit with your model number before ordering.
Frost & ice were building up inside the top of our upright freezer, so I replaced the door gasket. First I'll make my long story short, then I'll tell the longer story for those who might be interested and might benefit from my experience. Short version - The whole project took about three hours, but less than an hour of that would have been required if I were more of a handyman and if the freezer hadn't had prior work done on the door for the same frost buildup problem. Long version - When... Read more

Prevents water leaks around your dishwasher door. Replace if you notice pooling water on the floor or visible cracks in the seal. Verify fit by model number.
I called to ask about the correct gasket for the door. As VERY helpful lady suggested that it was probably a split arm spray. She was absolutely correct. I have used you web site for parts in the past and will always make it my first stop when ordering appliance parts. Read more
Seals the bottom of your dishwasher door to prevent water leaks during wash cycles. Replace if you notice pooling water on the floor. Confirm fit with your model.
I went to your web sight. I entered the GE dishwasher model # and found the gasket was available. While looking up the needed gasket I happened to see an applicable how-to replace the gasket video and watched it. It was easy to follow and VERY helpful. As I watched, I wrote down the gasket replacement procedure step-by-step. I ordered the needed gasket and received it in 2 days (AMAZING). The replacement entailed disconnecting the water supply, the power supply and the discharge hose. I removed... Read more

Seals the bottom of your dishwasher door to prevent leaks during wash cycles. Replace if water pools on floor or seal appears flat or worn. Confirm fit.
My Whirlpool dishwasher was leaking out the bottom of the door. I replaced the gasket and the lower door seal. When I ran a test wash, it was still leaking. After reading more online, I found that it could be a cracked washer arm. The initial inspection of the washer arm looked normal but when I used my faucet to slowly pour water into the inlet of the arm, I noted that water was leaking through a seam and not just the holes where it should come out. I then tried running a wash without the... Read more
This gray magnetic door gasket seals the fresh food compartment door on the refrigerator, preventing warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. It attaches around the perimeter of the door and uses embedded magnets to hold a tight seal when closed. Replace this gasket if you notice condensation forming around the door, frost buildup inside the compartment, or if the refrigerator is running more frequently than normal due to air leaks.
NOTE: Can be used for Right or Left Side.
I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. Maybe 10 minutes? Read more
Seals dishwasher door perimeter to prevent water leaks during operation. Replace if you notice leaking from door sides or bottom. Easy 5-minute install.
I ordered door seal and bottom strip seal: GASKET TUB PLASTIC Number: WD08X22094 GASKET BEACH PLASTIC: WD08X21894 I had done this once previously and removed the door. That was not too bad but trying to put the door back on the hinges by myself was a bit of work. This time I: 1) removed the 2 screws at the bottom of the door. 2) opened the door all the way 3) slowly pulled the door back on the hinges till I could pull out the bottom gasket 4) slid the new gasket back in place 5) pushed the... Dishwasher lower door seal prevents water leaks at the door base. Replace if you notice dripping or moisture during wash cycles. Confirm fit with your model.
Thanks to Jason and his tech people at Appliance Parts Pro, I was able to remove and replace the seal and eliminate all leaks at the bottom of the door. I have a Kitchenaide (Whirlpool) dishwasher model KUDC10IXBL1. Here is how to replace the bottom door seal. 1) Shut off breaker to dishwasher on the electrical panel. 2) Open the dishwasher door completely, and while supporting the door, remove the hex head screws that hold the outside cover. 2) Close the door carefully and slip the outside... Seals the rear drum edge to contain hot air and improve drying efficiency. Replace if worn, torn, or causing noise. Confirm fit with your model number.
Our 19 year old Whirlpool dryer quit heating. After checking the thermal fuse, I found the ignitor electrically open. I bought an ignitor at a local store as there was a national holiday the next day and I did not want the dryer inoperative waiting several days for shipping. I can say AppliancePartsPros is MUCH cheaper for the identical Whirlpool genuine part. While changing the ignitor, I noticed there was an excessive amount of lint in the dryer, which was caused by worn drum seals. I ordered... Read more

Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. Panel has codes on it (S or 5 E CE, later that changes to S or 5 Y CE). Research of codes says replace main board and control board. Not sure where this main board is. 22 Sep call appliance repair. Rubber door boot seal prevents water leaks between the washer drum and door. Replace if torn, cracked, or leaking during cycles. Confirm fit by model.
I noticed the rubber seal (bellow) was damaged near the bottom of the bellow. It looks like removing clothes from the machine had worn away and eventually ripped away some of the seal. This caused water to leak out the bottom of the door. I looked up the model number of my washer on the web and searched for the part number of the bellow. Once I found it I searched eBay, Amazon and a few other places for the part number and opted for Appliance Parts Pros. The part was reasonably priced and... Read more
Seals the bottom of your dishwasher door to prevent water leaks during wash cycles. Replace if worn, cracked, or loose. Confirm fit with your model.
A quick google search lead me to the problem - the plastic door gasket had become loose and broken. Received the part very quickly and installed it that night after a little trial and error. What the videos don't tell you is that to properly 'seat' the gasket you need to angle it UP when you push it into the little gap. If you angle it up, it will catch and seat properly, if you just push it in normally, it won't catch on the right part and it'll just hang loose at the bottom of the door and... Read more
Seals the gap between the drum and front panel to prevent air leaks and noise. Replace if worn, damaged, or causing squeaking sounds. Verify fit with your model.
Found the entire top bearing support plastic piece was completely worn through, the bearing slides had all disappeared some time ago. So it was obviously the problem. The felt trap duct (which is actually a drum seal along bottom front of drum so I don't know why they call it felt trap duct) had also disappeared, so a lot of lint was getting inside the front panel too. It's a very easy repair to change the bearing support; everything just pops out just like the video shows. Make sure you... Read more
Restores a watertight seal on your dishwasher door to stop leaks. Replace when worn, torn, or water escapes during cycles. Confirm fit with your model.
We replaced the black door seal gasket around the front of the dishwasher. The old black seal gasket had begun to deteriorate, every time it was touched black stuff would rub off onto hands and onto utensils in the upper basket. We wore some disposable gloves to remove the old seal to avoid getting the black stuff on our hands. Before entirely removing the old seal gasket we studied its placement to tell which way the new seal gasket should be placed. We didn’t want to place the seal gasket... Read more
