It is an easy job if you are good with screw driver and some general sense of things. Watched the video a few times for door boot seal replacement. It was a lot of help! The spring is the hardest to replace and I did enlist the help of my wife. Everything went back on great. If you have to replace the front panel (with the buttons) be mindful that the buttons are spring loaded and will come out. I did not lose any and it went back together just fine. Take out three small screws in the front. Then the stove top lifts like a hood on car. Remove 2 screws per row of elements. Then remove the broken top. Install new top. Reverse the previous steps to finish. Read more

Needed to replace burner box panel (pan under electric coil burners) and replace stove top (black panel that surrounds the burners). BB was corroded, had a couple big holes from liquid boil-overs (salted water) from the last 10 years. The stove top looked nasty. It was chipped & scratched badly.
