Mollie D Wellington , OH April 05, 2017 Dropped a large pot and cracked my stove top!! I ordered this part and it was delivered the next day (less than 24 hours)!! I have no prior experience fixing appliances, or even anything electrical. I took out the 2 front screws, propped up the top (with something sturdy!) and took out the 2 screws from each bracket holding the burners. Then it just lifted off! I had to switch the clips from the old top because the new top does not have the rear clips- but they slid right off. Then I put the new top on, secured the burners with brackets, and screwed the top back on! It works perfect and looks awesome! Brian W Sumas , WA March 29, 2016 A bottle of vinegar fell on my glass top stove and shattered it ! "dont buy a glass top stove" Fix was easy. Ordered a new top received it 2 days later. Great service! It's only 6 screws total ! Took about 15 minutes to do the whole job. The only thing I found that could be helpful to others is the wires are still LIVE even when the burners are off. So unplug the stove or turn the breaker off ! Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
