Specially formulated cleaner for ceramic glass and smooth cooktops. Removes cooked-on food, grease, and spills without scratching. Verify fit by model.
VERY simple fix- you do not even have to pull the range out.. I ordered a new cooktop from Appliance parts Pros. The customer sales rep Alphonso was great and walked me through the general process. I could find no explicit instructions for the repair but I muddled my way through. The fix is simple on Kitchenaid/Whirpool slide in ranges. 1. Open the oven door and remove the two phillips head screws directly below the control panel that hold the panel down.2. Lift the control panel upward and... Read more
Fix F2 or F3 error codes with a new oven temperature sensor. Restores accurate heating when your oven shuts off or won't maintain temperature. 10-15 min DIY.
In the middle of Christmas baking, I noticed that it was taking a really long time to bake bread. Since I had already done 5 batches and the timing was always the same, I knew when I had to add 20 min, something was wrong. My oven thermometer (I bought at target) no longer worked so it was hard to tell the exact temperature. First, I went and bought a new thermometer to see the actual temp, then I set the oven to 350 degrees and checked to see what the thermometer was showing. It was almost 50... Read more

Oven won't heat or shuts off during baking? A faulty thermal fuse cuts power when detecting excessive heat. This safety device protects your range.
The F9 error code is supposed to indicate that the door lock mechanism has failed. My oven would give the F9 code and turn off during normal baking at 400 F after about 30-40 minutes. It turns out that GE must have programmed the error codes incorrectly in my model, because the real problem was that my control board cooling fan was no longer functional, and one of the two thermal switches was shutting off the unit when the control board area got too hot. Broiler not heating or won't turn on? This broil element assembly restores high-heat broiling. Most DIYers complete this repair in under 30 minutes.
I ordered the replacement part; after it arrived, I turned off the power to the oven - watched the video on how to replace the part, which was fantastic as it told me to make sure when I disconnect the old element not to let the wires fall behind the oven (that would have been a big problem b/c it's a wall oven) - However, one wire still slipped back a little - so I used needle nose pliers to retrieve it. Was able to plug the new one in - screw it into place with the original screws. I made... Read more
Rubber foot that attaches to the bottom of cooktop grates. Replace if cracked, worn, missing, or loose to prevent grates from sliding and scratching.
I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. Reassembly was easy and everything worked properly when done. Video of repair was helpful and all parts ordered were correct and shipped promptly and I will definitely use AppliancePartsPros again. Rear drawer support bracket mounts at the base of your range to provide weight-bearing support for the lower oven drawer. Replace if cracked or missing.
So, in the process of a kitchen remodel my GC managed to lose *both* of the rear plastic supports for my GE stove! The drawer was totally unsupported without the brackets. I managed to find them on your site and see that they were a new and better design (rear mount with screw vs side mount and no firm mounting). The install was a snap and the brackets work excellent. I wish I knew that there was a new design years ago or I would have bought them much sooner! Thanks!! Read more
Convection mode not working or uneven baking? This convection heating element restores consistent heat distribution. Straightforward DIY fix.
I visited Appliance Pros website and indicated the problem we were having etc. Found the suspected part (heating element), went on YouTube and found out how to remove the part from the oven and test it with a multi-meter. Keep in mind I have never used a multi-meter before or made repairs to an oven before. However, I have used Appliance Pros before to fix a refrigerator problem just a month earlier and after watching their video it was a very easy repair. Anyway, I tested the old convection... Fix burners that won't ignite or spark continuously. This spark module controls ignition for all surface burners. DIY repair in about 45 minutes.
Refer to Mynor T. of Draper, UT Aug. 12, 2018 write-up. I benefited greatly from the above write-up. It took me a little less time to perform this repair (excluding cleaning the assembly) due to the write-up. This GE Profile gas burner cook top is a “drop-in” model meant to be installed into counter top cut outs. The glass top edges are the actual support area for the entire cook top assembly. The burner bases (on top of the glass top) are screwed to the metal case enclosure (located beneath... Read more

Fix loud screeching or rattling convection fan noise. This 5-inch hub blade assembly restores quiet oven operation. Easy 5-minute DIY repair.
The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen. We replaced the motor and the fan blade. 1. Turn off power to the oven. 2. Remove the oven doors 3. Remove the cover for the fan. 4. Turn the fan blade nut clockwise to loosen( it's opposite of normal) - Save the nut and the small clip that is behind the fan as you'll need them again. 5. Remove the screws that hold oven to the kitchen cabinet frame. 6. Slide oven out of kitchen cabinet and place on the floor - it takes 2... Read more
