Cleaned exhaust duct, but only from the dryer/laundry room side. Replaced thermal fuse. Unit worked for about two loads and thermal fuse blew again. This time I cleaned the exhaust vent on the roof of my 2-story house. It was found to be partially obstructed and I was able to remove a significant amount of lint from it. I decided the problem was with the gas valve and I found the part on your web site. I ordered it and received the part in 3 days. I replaced the valve and the dryer works like new! This also gave me an opportunity to vacuum out the dust/lint that collects in and around the dryer. Read more

I went online and typed in my model number. I was just going to order the dryer belt, but decided that changing all the movable parts at the same time would be best - I definitely recommend doing this, since it was the tensioner pulley and not the belt. My husband is handy, which is why this was not a problem. The whole dryer needs to come apart in order to do this repair. Went on line looking on how to accomplish this and Appliance parts pro site came up and it was exactly what I needed. Order was sent on Sunday note and on Tuesday afternoon it was delivered. Door latch was a snap (literally). Package included Instructions and parts for 3 different latch types and an easy identification method for each type. Just identify the correct latch type for your dryer and "Snap" it in to the cutout on the inside of the dryer door . The Door handle requires you unscrew the small sheet metal screws (three on my dryer) on the top edge of the dryer door. THE WSHER WAS EASY BECAUSE THE DRAIN PUMP HAD TWO PENNIES INSIDE IT AND THEY CRACKED THE HOUSING.EASY FIX REPLACING THE DRAIN PUMP. WORKS LIKE A CHARM. DRYER WAS A BIT MORE WORK.I CHANGED THE IGNITER FIRST WITH YOUR ADVICE. STILL NOTHING. I THEN CHANGED THE COIL VALVE KIT. NO LUCK. NEXT WAS THE TEMP SWITCH ON THE PANEL.
