This carriage bolt is a self-locking fastener made for use in round or square holes to attach metal to metal in outdoor equipment. These bolts provide an added safety feature because they can only be removed from one side. Carriage bolts can carry a large amount of weight, which makes them ideal for use in outdoor yard equipment. Carriage bolts may be used to attach a lawn mower's arm to the side support and other similar applications. If the bolt needs to be replaced, removal and installation are simple.
